Lhatese Dogs – A Lhaso Apso Maltese Mix Dog

If you are looking for a small dog for a pet, you might want to consider getting a lhatese dog. This is a mix between a lhaso apso and a maltese. There are both first generation and multi-generational mixes available with a combination of the characteristics of the two different breeds. These lhaso apso maltese mixes are generally about six to fifteen pounds and between eight and eleven inches tall. They have a long, silky coat that can be a variety of different colors.

These dogs are somewhat active and playful, so they do need a little bit of exercise, but not as much as many dogs do. These are indoor dogs, so they are best for people who would like a house pet. The lhaso apso maltese also will need to be trained and this will take a consistent approach and a lot of patience, since lhaso apsos are not all that easy to train and some of this characteristic is still present in this mixed breed. You will also need to brush these dogs every day and bathe them from time to time. They should also be groomed every six to eight weeks.

These dogs can make a good family pet. Although lhaso apsos tend not to be very good with children, as long as you get a lhaso apso maltese dog that has a temperament more like a maltese these dogs are fine with children. They are usually very loving dogs. Lhatese dogs usually also get along pretty well with other pets, so it shouldn’t be a problem to add one of these dogs to a household that has other dogs or cats.
The lhaso apso maltese can make a fairly good watchdog since they like to let you know when people or other dogs are nearby. However, there generally isn’t a problem with them barking too much. This means they would probably work out alright as apartment dogs.

Lhatese dogs can make a great pet for those who would like a small dog to live in their home with them. They will work out well for people who would like a dog that doesn’t require a lot of exercise, and for those who want a dog who doesn’t usually have a barking problem.
